When we were children, (Diane and Laura aka “the twins”) we would watch our father’s mother, Grandma Dora Santi, make her delicious old world Italian recipes she brought with her to America in 1908, among them, Anise Biscottini, (smaller biscotti).  The cookie was very light and delicate and had a “more-ish” taste, as Grandma would say.

As we grew older, we learned how to make the biscottini ourselves and would give them as gifts to friends and relatives.  Many times people told us the biscotti were so good that we should open a business and sell them!  After giving it some thought, we decided it would be fun!  So we now sell them at farmer’s markets, gift basket companies, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee carts, caterers and corporate clients.  Now, they are available on the internet!

Each biscottini is hand cut and carefully packaged.  Making the biscottini and sharing them with you fills our hearts with joy.  We hope you enjoy eating them as much as we like making them for you.
